As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
Terms of Use
The RILP, published since 1989, is an interdisciplinary publication of the Association of Portuguese Language Universities, with a planned half-yearly circulation of 200 copies. The International Serial Number (ISSN) for this collection is 2182-4452 (paper) and 2184-2043 (online).
Guidelines for Authors:
1. The articles must be original and unpublished. Once the RILP evaluation process can be analyzed at some point. Documents must be imported and must be respected as a reference to the 2009 spelling agreement.
2. Articles should have preferences up to 15,000 words, including notes, bibliography and tables. The texts must be printed in a Word (or compatible) document.
3. Articles should be accompanied by a summary of about 150 words - one in portuguese and the other one in english - of all six keywords and a Word (or compatible) file with , category of areas of specialization and elements of electronic contact).
4. As illustrations, pictures, figures and maps should be numbered and distributed as a file in the jpeg or png format. The author should continue to indicate the places where they should be inserted.
5. As citations from sources have the copyright law in force.
6. The RILP follows as APA Style Guide bibliographic reference standards. The bibliographical references of the texts must be inserted in body of text, respecting the norms of citation in relation to redundancy, avoiding the use of footnotes for this purpose.
7. The consecutive days, in the first moment, were in charge of the editorial board, being able to be revalorized or in process of scientific arbitration. The texts will then be accepted with one or two elements, through a peer review system. The final decision on the publication of a large number of documents must be made by the Editorial Board, taking into account the opinions of the members.
8. Authors, individual or collective, of published articles grant RILP the exclusive right of first publication in print and digital versions, and the article may undergo alterations and revisions in form, or with the purpose of adapting it to the editorial style of RILP.
9. Authors, individuals or groups, of the articles published in RILP, are authors of the journal two copies each.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
