Abstract

Mozambique is a country very exposed to climatic events mainly due to its geographical location and changes in the dynamics of territorial use and occupation. This context of vulnerability encourages the country to enhance its adaptation policy in the face of the challenges of the climate agenda. And the teaching and learning process can play a fundamental role in training a robust generation to face the challenges of the climate agenda. It is within this scope that the study redefined cooperative games for the country’s sociocultural context, with the potential to be implemented in primary and secondary education with a view to strengthening the climate adaptation agenda. The research was based on a systematic review of the literature on processes for building cooperative games and preventing climate events. Therefore, two games were proposed, with the following designation: “Facing climatic events” and “Selective collection”. The two games enhance learning to improve prevention and mitigation mechanisms against climate events and the importance of environmental sustainability.
