The Woman as Science of Life Around the Philosophy of Humanized Childbirth

Abstract
In this article we intend to use the bioethical approach to give the philosophical meaning to the concept of “sacred birth” and “birth sacred”. “Sacred birth” is associated with the bodily elements of “man-woman”, but specifically for the body cells of the woman. While the “birth sacred” is associated with the process of leaving the “new body” in the vaginal canal of the woman, and therefore, here the vagina plays a very important role in the conduction of the “new body” exit, combining with other Blood cells so that the journey of the “new body” to the world succeeds, although the pain carried by the woman in labor is quite painful.

Vicente Paulino (PhD) is a Visiting Assistant Professor and Director of the Production and Knowledge Dissemination Unit of the National University of Timor Lorosa'e. Bachelor and Master in Communication Sciences by the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the new University of Lisbon. PhD in Literature and Culture Studies / specialization in Culture and Communication from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon. Researcher at CEMRI-UAb - Center for Migration and Intercultural Relations Studies, Universidade Aberta, Lisbon. Member of the Scientific Policy Council of AICSHLP - International Association of Social and Human Sciences in Portuguese Language (from 2011 to 2019). He is a member of the board of AIA-SEAS - Ibero-American Association of South-East Asian Studies (2013 to 2019). He is a member of the 'Cadernos de Ciências Sociais' (School of Social Science) Forum of Escolar Editora - Universidade Eduardo Mondlane de Moçambique. He has participated in and presented papers at various national and international scientific events, and has published several academic papers in books, book chapters, journals and conference proceedings.

Irta Sequeira Baris de Araújo has been a guest lecturer for the Transversal Disciplines of Timor Lorosa'e National University since 2014. She holds a degree in Portuguese and Lusophone Culture from Timor Lorosa'e National University. Master in Education and Social Movements by the Federal University of Santa Catarina - Brazil. He has published works on Timor, namely on culture of the Timorese lulik (sacred).
